Attorneys File Suit Against Charter Cable

In late 2009 a group of New Orleans attorneys filed suit against Charter Cable for illegal tying, asserting the company unfairly required the rental of its set-top boxes to properly watch its premium cable services. This comes on the heels of the group's February 10th filing against Cox Cable for the same practices. In March of 2009, this filing was submitted on behalf of Charter Cable subscribers accusing Charter of illegal business practices involving the tying of services to additional rental costs.
